Program Description:
Introduction to Faculty Registration

Per the Interim Faculty Travel Policy, faculty must seek written approval from the Provost if they wish to travel to any country for which a Level 3 or Level 4 Travel Advisory has been issued by the U.S. Department of State or where a Travel Warning has been issued by the World Health Organization, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and/or the Department of Treasury’s Office of Foreign Asset Control   If such travel is approved, the faculty member must then complete this brief, on-line travel registration and sign the International Travel Policy for Faculty Research and Scholarship Waiver and Release of Claims Form prior to requesting faculty development funds or arranging travel.  (The form will be sent to the traveler by the CIP upon registration).


Why Is Registration Important?
Registration allows the CIP and the University the ability to provide our travelers with the necessary health and safety support, including critical pre-departure resources and insurance information.  Additionally, in the unlikely event of an emergency while the group is abroad, the CIP will be able to quickly coordinate response and assistance with the relevant departments.
Ready to Begin?
The following steps will help guide you through the registration process. It is strongly recommended that you complete the registration at least 90 days prior to departure.

Step 1: Click on the red "Apply Now" button to begin.

Step 2: You will be prompted to log-in with your regular SJU ID and password.  

Step 3: After authenticating, you will be asked to input your destination and travel dates.  If you are traveling to more than one city, you will see that you can add each leg of your trip on this page.

Step 4: On the next page, review and complete all items under the Questionnaires and Learning Content sections. When they are completed, a check mark will appear in the boxes under the "Received" column.  Note that there is no final "Submit" button.  Once all of the boxes are marked off, your registration is complete.
 
Returning to View or Complete Your Registration
You can return to work on your registration at any time.  To return, click "SJU Login/Register" at the top of the page to be taken to your Applicant Home page.  From here, click on the blue link for your registration.  Please do not hit the "Apply Now" button from this page more than once as it will create multiple applications for you.
