I enjoyed this program. I wish there was more interaction with locals though.

An experience I will never forget. Life-long memories made with life-long friends.

FUA is great! I wish SJU accepted more classes they offer, however. I would've loved to take more cultural immersion classes, but my schedule did not allow room for more electives.

This program allowed me to meet many people from different schools which helped me to not stick with only those I knew.

I was not sure what to except but the program was great. The staff of Fairfield was always available and they offered many different programs to us.

Florence is a great program, especially for students who have not spent much time outside of the country. Everything you need is within a simple walking distance of your apartment and it is incredibly easy to engage with the local culture!

Kelsey L. Tryon, Fall 2015 Participant
The people of the program made it very easy for us to stay in contact with them throughout the semester and they were always there to answer our questions!

Spring 2015 Participant
This program provided an amazing opportunity to learn about other cultures in a fun and safe way.

The study abroad program in Florence was extremely beneficial to my personal growth, as I was able to learn not only inside, but also outside of the classroom. I was able to travel throughout Italy and Europe observing the customs of each region like food, festivals, art, architecture, and history. I was given opportunities impossible to receive in the U.S. and I will never forget them.

The classes at Florence University of the Arts are designed to immerse all study abroad and local students into the culture that is Florence. From museum and church visits, to urban farm and garden tours, to walks around the city with knowledgeable professors, FUA encourages students to appreciate every little piece of Florence and its contribution to our world.
