Assistant Director for Semester Abroad and Health & Safety
As Assistant Director for Semester Abroad and Health & Safety, Kelly is responsible for overseeing the administration of the university’s 30 approved/affiliated semester abroad programs, non-SJU summer and winter study abroad, as well as coordinating the health and safety preparedness of all students, faculty and staff participating in University-sponsored international travel. She is also the point of contact for all questions related to the University's International Travel Policy.
Kelly holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Elizabethtown College and a Masters in Organizational Development and Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University. Prior to joining St. Joe's as the Study Abroad Advisor in 2007, Kelly worked for BCA Study Abroad, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting peace and justice through the international education.
Kelly studied abroad in Galway, Ireland and has also traveled to Spain, France, Italy, Chile, Argentina, China, Japan, Mexico and Tahiti.
