Assistant Director for Semester Abroad and Health & Safety
As Assistant Director for Semester Abroad and Health & Safety, Kelly is responsible for overseeing the administration of the university’s 29 approved/affiliated semester abroad programs, non-SJU summer and winter study abroad, as well as coordinating the health and safety preparedness of all students, faculty and staff participating in University-sponsored international travel. Kelly holds a Bachelor's degree in English from Elizabethtown College and a Masters in Organizational Development and Leadership from Saint Joseph’s University. From 2002 to 2007, (first as a student worker and then as a full-time staff member) she worked for BCA Study Abroad, a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting peace and justice through the international education experience. In late 2007, she joined the SJU Center for International Programs as Study Abroad Advisor/Coordinator until 2012 when she became Assistant Director. Kelly studied abroad in Galway, Ireland during the summer before her junior year of college, and she has also traveled to Spain, France, Italy, Chile, Argentina, China, Japan, Mexico and Tahiti.
