Introduction to Staff/Administration International Travel Registration
The Saint Joseph's University International Travel Policy requires that all faculty and staff planning individual international travel for non-academic, University purposes register their confirmed travel with the Center for International Programs (CIP).  This includes (but is not limited to) travel for the purposes of conference attendance, service and recruitment.  It is NOT to be used by staff and administrators traveling abroad as part of an SJU Study Tour or Summer Program or for personal travel that is not sponsored by the University. 

Why Is Registering Important?
Travel registration in the system allows the CIP and the University the ability to provide you with the necessary health and safety support, including travel medical insurance information and other pre-departure resources.  Additionally, in the unlikely event of an emergency, the CIP will be able to quickly coordinate response and assistance with the relevant departments across campus.

Ready to Register?
If you meet the following conditions, please click on the "Register Now" button below to begin the registration process:
  • You are not traveling with students (undergraduate or graduate). 
  • You are not traveling to a country or region under a U.S. Department of State or Centers for Disease Control Travel Warning.  (If you are, please stop now and review the Request for Exception process, outlined here.)
  • You have received all necessary approvals to travel abroad from your department or Dean.
  • You have booked your travel through the University Travel Office or Concur, the preferred online booking tool.  (Air and rail reservations booked outside of the Travel office will not be reimbursed, per the business expense policy.)
When you begin a travel registration, you will first be prompted to log-in with your SJU ID and password (unless you are already authenticated). After authenticating, you will be asked to provide the location(s) and dates of your travel.  Next, you will be taken a page where you can provide additional information about your trip, view important travel resources and upload your personal documents in the secure system.  The process should take no more than 15 minutes.

Click "SJU Login/Register" at the top of the page. Note: this will not work if you have not yet started a travel registration.

Leading an SJU Study Tour or Summer Program?
If you are a faculty member or coordinator for a Study Tour or Summer Program organized through the CIP office, you do not need to register here. Instead, please contact Lindsey Martin (lmartin@sju.edu) or Mary Anne Kucserik (mkucseri@sju.edu) for assistance.
