Study Abroad Course Approval Process:

Step 1: Student meets with Academic Advisor to discuss plan courses to take abroad in relation to graduation, major/minor requirements
  - Use Study Abroad Course Equivalency Approval Form
  - Consult the "Courses Offered" on each Program Brochure, which can be found using the Program Search
Step 2: Student and Advisor fill out Course Equivalency Approval Form
Step 3: Student takes form, and course syllabi(s) to Dean and/or Dept. Chair for respective course approvals:
  - New classes under the College of Arts and Science send to Academic Associate Dean (Barbelin 112)
  - New classes under the School of Business send to Appropriate Department Chair (i.e. Mgmt, Acct, etc.) 
  **Both may require course description; class hours, syllabus, course work, etc. 
Step 4: Student returns the Course Equivalency Form to their Advisor for final approval of SJU courses & signature on form
Step 5: Student delivers the Course Equivalency Form to the CIP office (183 City Ave) before leaving SJU for their semester abroad.
